Cute Pirates

Wuih critanya hari ini kebut-kebutan upload foto hehehe... well begitulah, my last blog was on April 2nd jadi dah mau 2 bulan gak curcol lagi disini.... ngapain aja yah saya? hehehe well gak jauh-jauh dari ngurus anak-anak dan tentunya tetep ngurus pilo-pilo juga.April lalu saya info mengenai closing down pilo *hix* setelah 3 tahun suka-duka terlewati, anyway.... response teman-teman luar biasa, bahkan ada yang ultah anaknya October sudah order goody dari April lalu. Well, jadinya rencana saya untuk SALE all goody kami jadi tertunda sebentar karena saya harus kebut goody-bag ultah ini.Anyway lagi, ada sedikit kabar baik, mengingat response masih begitu tinggi, dan stock kain kami pun masih begitu banyak, so saya kemungkinan masih akan terima 1-2 orderan goody bag lagi sampai dengan akhir tahun 2012 ini.Kenapa sampai akhir tahun saja? well, karena Juni besok sesuai plan workshop pilo-pilo akan dibongkar dan disulap menjadi workshop dengan fungsi lain.... Customer yang kami dahulukan orderannya saat ini adalah customer lama atau dengan orderan motive motive lama kami.... Kenapa begitu? karena sampai dengan saat ini masih aja ada calon-calon customer 'jenis raja' yang di awal-awal mau order beratus-ratus, mau dibuatkan motive khusus, mau diskon terbesar, dan ujung-ujungnya .....???? .... apa ujung-ujungnya??? ... yah itu, tidak ada kabar lagi, atau kirim pesan "eh gak jadi deh, nanti aja taon depan" dan alasan-alasan lainnya, sedih kadang, bukan karena buang waktu cukup lama untuk meng-handle jenis customer yang minta perhatian berlebihan ini, tapi kadang kita sudah siapkan bahan baku, sudah hitung waktu pengerjaan, dan sudah 'pula' menolak orderan lain karena kapasitas kami terbatas. Eh, kog dengan teganya cancel begitu saja. *hix.... btw I'm gonna miss this moment sih, but not too soon* hehe


Well, jadi curhat kan hehehehehe.... dah lama nih gak curhat, jadi kebablasan deh..... ^^....Anyway (untuk ketiga kalinya <-- sering keluar topik sih hahaha) foto di bawah adalah orderan goody bag handuk Ms. JM untuk ultah anak nya akhir bulan nanti.Tema ultah-nya adalah bajak laut, so jadilah bajak-bajak laut imut ini untuk ultah her loved one.

Christmas Owl

Pertama kalinya dalam sejarah pilo pilo, kami membuat goody dengan tema Natal. Hehehe. Loh kog bisa? Iya nih.... kog bisa? napa gak dari dulu-dulu coba? hayo kenapa? *bingung *peluk pohon ceri *eeeeh cerinya dah pada mateng2 *manjat pohon ceri en petik2in masukin kantong celana <-- yup, seperti biasa, lari dari topik utama :D :D :D

Post hari ini mau nunjukin foto handuk kami pesanan dear Illyana yang bulan November barusan memesan 46 pcs t-shirt goody untuk ulang tahun her dearest boy Brian. Tengkyusomac for coming back for more. *cipika-cipiki*

40 pcs handuk ini akan dibagi-bagikan untuk acara Natal Brian bersama-sama dengan para anak-anak di panti asuhan Sathora (Santo Thomas Rasul) ... so sweet ... here they are ....

Kebeneran Yana demen owl, jadi skalian aja bikin Owl yang memakai baju Santa .... ^_^.... saya selipkan juga something-something buat Brian dalam dus yah, semoga suka. Muach. Have a Merry Christmas to you all ... Eeeh baru tanggal 9 yah? laaah, kog bawaannya udah liburan aja??? :D

Smurf Applique Towel

Good smurf everybody? How are you today? Hope everything is smurf. ^^

Cieeee ikutan demam smurf nih .... hehehe

Jadi ingat, pertama kali baca komik Smurf waktu kelas 1 SD tempoe doeloe, excited banget teruama karena bahasa 'smurf' nya itu, semua diganti 'smurf' ... so much fun... i wished i could smurf like them... hehehehe.

Anyway, sekarang anak saya pun nonton dan baca komik smurf pas duduk di kelas 1 SD. Bedanya saya baca versi endonesa, anak saya baca versi inglis-nya, jadinya awal-awal agak bingung juga ama nama-namanya hahahaha...

Sekedar refreshing nih di pagi hari .... *btw, kalo saya salah tolong dipermak yah*

Saat ini kita masih mengerjakan Smurfette, aduh detailnya cukup asoy juga bikinnya hehehe, dalam sehari kita bisa menyelesaikan bordir Smurf sekitar 11-12 pcs, tapi untuk Smurfette wah bisa kelar 8 pcs udah termasuk cepet hehehe.

Baby Bugs Bunny Applique

Sejak beberapa hari lalu, tiap kali baca status temen-temen di FB atau liat timeline di twitter, isinya komplain, marah-marah, kesel, ngedumel, ngamuk-ngamuk, sedih, tersinggung, nangis, dll ... aura negative nya kuat sekali.

Hari ini, saya sendiri mengawali bangun pagi dengan tegangan tingkat tinggi, well, sumbernya gak laen dari si boss kecil yang gak mau sarapan lah, gak mau gosok gigi lah, seragam sekolah ketumpahan aer trus gak mau diganti lah, hari ini ada science quiz dan materi yang dipelajari semalam lupa semua lah, dan lah lah laen yg bener-bener bikin grrrrr ...... grrrr.... grauk grauk!!!

Masih di hari yang sama, seorang temen mengganti profile picture di BB nya dengan foto yang bertuliskan "This person is not in a good mood. Please back off and do not disturb" Lucuuu... saya copy kalimat yang sama dan jadikan status di FB ... yeah, that's what i feel too :D :D :D

Owl Applique Towel

Happy 01-11-11 ... what an amazing day ^^

Cakep yah angkanya? ntar pas 11-11-11 saya 'kudu' punya posting-an juga apapun itu. Kalopun gak ada goody baru yang perlu ditunjukin ke moms sekalian, yah pasti curahan hati colongan yang dimuat (kalo itu sih banyak materinya) bruhuahahaha *Huuush!!! :D

Well, hari ini saya mau nunjukin foto-foto dari goody bag ultah pesanan dear Mom Mary for her 1st baby girl upcoming 2nd Bday. Awalnya dear Mary request tema film anak-anak "In The Nigh Garden" tapi karena ketidaksanggupan saya membuat patron karakter-karaker tersebut, jadilah goody ultah baby K berubah menjadi seperti di bawah ini.

Kebeneran dear Mary order goody ultah-nya berbarengan dengan waktu kita launching owl-applique cushions, jadilah order tsb berubah dari "In The Nigh Garden" ke Gugu-Gaga ^^

Ini separoh dari goody yang sudah selesai pengerjaannya. Sisa sebagian besar lagi masih di workshop, masih dalam tahap bordir nama, perapihan/pembersihan benang-benang, check-and-crosscheck pengejaan nama dan packing. Mudah-mudahan bisa kelar awal minggu depan ^^

Yellow Ducky Applique

Woohhoo, ini blog terpagi dalam sejarahnya pilo pilo goodies, hehe gimana gak ... anak-anak masuk sekolah jam 7.15 artinya sebelum itu kudu berangkat dari rumah. Thanks God yang gede udah bisa langsung ditinggal, dan si kecil walaupun harus melewati drama yang penuh jeritan menyayat hati dan penuh derai air mata *gak-kuat-bahasamu-Lan-:D* tapi pagi ini bisa dilewati dengan baik. Hehehe. Well, jadilah saya udah nyampe kantor dan duduk manis depan PC jam segini.

Post hari ini adalah untuk denim-tote-bag dan handuk dengan aplikasi bebek kuning.

Nothing special sebenarnya, tapi cukup penting untuk di-mention disini. why? karena denim tote bag dengan aplikasi yellow ducky tsb dibuat di awal tahun 2010, sementara aplikasi yang sama di-request kembali untuk dibordir ke handuk barusan saja July 2011 ini. Bener-bener kalah pamor ama Hello Kitty dan teman-temannya hehehehe.

The second winners of this competition was chosen by my hubby. They are Emma & Luke. Why Emma & Luke? Hubby said, foto ini lucu bener, karena anak-anak ini mau aja disuruh pake bathrobe (padahal lagi gak berenang) trus tiduran di bantal yang sebelumnya ditatakin handuk. Hahaha, semua goodies tersebut tentunya buatan pilo-pilo. Thanks Ms. Lulu for the photo and especially for keep coming back for more.

Aaah kalo ngomong amigurumi itu identik dengan my dear return customer Bibrina. And yes, Dear B is the first winner of this category. Look at the picture, it speaks to itself. Sekedar curcol, saya aja belum pernah ke Nagoya...hix si bunny amigurumi malah udah *iri berat* hahaha... again, thx so much Bibrina ^^.

2nd winner is Aurellia. Look at her, ekspresif banget yaaak ^^... Aurel's mom sent me 11 pictures of Aurel with her angry bird dolls. Pretty hard to chose 1 out of those 11. Thanks dear Mommy Ella and thanks to 17 jempols who votes for Aurel.

3rd winner is Heidi. Why Heidi? Why not? Hahaha look at her, sooo super cute. In this picture she is also wearing Barney t-shirt that was first made for her (and her lil bro 'Hayden') as requested by Mommy Diana back on May 2010. Yeah 2010, so it means a year from now. Jillian's Bee ^^

Ms. Ellen, Jillian's mommy has been in contact with me since early March. Her goody order for Jillian's 1st b'day is 30 pcs of our bath-towels. She wanted 'bee' as the theme for Jillian's goody, and I said it shouldn't be a problem. Bee, right? easy! :p

As usual, my source of inspiration comes from google *hug-my-PC*... but hey, just realized that 'bee' is not a cute insect. Haha, none of the bee pictures I found on internet is cute. All of them have scary or silly looking face. When the insect looks cute (in the face), then they must be a butterfly or lady bug. Hahaha ... anyway, luckily I found one that cute enough, and here are the pictures of Jillian goody in progress with that bee on it.

Photo 1: Bentuknya oval, warna-warni, dibordir gak sejajar? Guess, what are they going to be? :)

Photo 2: See, it becomes a yellow-purple bee buzzing around 4 colorful flowers.

Photo 3: This is the final work for embroidering a buzzing bee on 4 flowers, a new motive first made for Ms. Ellen Johan.

When I uploaded these photos, those goodies are in 'name-embroidering-progress'. Hopefully by end of this week all towels are ready and can be delivered to dear Ellen. Thanks so much, darl ^^, hope you like what we make for dear baby J. God bless.

Musical Baby Andres

These are the towels for Andres'1st B'day goody bag. His Mom, Ms. Amalia put an order back on late January.

These was her email to me: "...tema untuk party-nya sendiri music karena dari bayi sampe sekarang dia (Baby Andres) rutin aku kenalin dan ajakin nonton konser melulu hehehehe, harapannya sih biar seimbang nanti otak kanan dan kiri nya ;p jadi tolong dibikinin gambar yang lucu untuk handuknya nanti yah... :) kepikiran sama aku sih gambar simpel partitur aja, yang ada kunci G dan beberapa not di tangga nada gitu. syukur2 kalo ternyata not-nya bisa dinyanyiin hehehehehehe..."

Gillian Henson's 1st B'day Bash

Remember my cute customer 'Gillian'? For her bday, her mommy 'Linda' ordered 180 pcs towels as goody bag. Well, as usual in every party that Linda held, the number of guests always more than she expected. Hehe she surely knew how to throw a party, that's why nobody wants to miss it.

This is the picture of Gillian's Bday cake. I asked permission to post this picture to my blog. Dear Linda said -quoted- "silahkaaan... monggoooo" hehehe, this is one out of hundreds picture from Gillian's Bday.

Linda has additional order for Gillian's guests who has not yet get a goody bag. I am very happy to take this order, especially at first place I forgot to take picture of the towels. hadeuh.

Hmmm, I wonder, if Linda threw a party like this 3 times a year for her 3 kids, how many presents do each of the kids have? I bet Linda must have another house just for these gifts only. Hehehe. hi-five lin ^_^

Sydney's 1st B'day Goody

Wooosssshh.... 70 pcs handuk motive Hello Kitty and Elmo untuk ulang tahun pertama Sydney terbang ke Jogjakarta.... Thanks Ms. Ling-ling.

And yes, dari 5 jepretan saya, foto diatas ini udah yang terbaik... kebayang gak 4 foto laennya kayak apa? Wakakaka :p

3rd Order For 3rd Kid

I feel a lil bit blue these past couple of days, but hey life must go on, and I have couple of new stories and many photos that I haven't post yet, so here we go.

These are goodies order by dear Linda for her baby girl Gillian's 1st B'day. Last year I made B'day goody for Gillian's big bro "Denzel" and big sis "Gwyneth". Today is for Gillian herself ^^

Linda's first request was 100 pcs of our towel, then she added additional 25 pcs and 7 days before delivery date she added additional 55 pcs. I almost fainted hehe. We rushed as usual, worked over time for the past 5 days, but 1 day before delivery it still 65 pcs short. Yet, before I called her to say I can't finish her 80 pcs additional order, she contacted me first and said that Gillian's B'day is rescheduled for another week. Phew. Now, all 180 pcs were finished and sent to Linda last Saturday using her regular air courier service, and by Monday 2 days ago, all goodies were delivered to her house in Medan, North Sumatra.

Here are some of the pics of our workshop routine while preparing Gillian's birthday goody. ^^

Photo 1: As always, Linda asked new motives for her kids. For Gillian's goody she asked lollipop or candy or cupcake theme. We made 1 cupcake in the middle, and 2 lollipops around it. This is the preliminary work. hehehe baru nyadar keliatan kayak panda :p

Hello Kitty

This morning we got a 'Season's Greetings Card' from Japan. Its from our dear friend Ms. Keiko Nobukiyo a.k.a Keichan. She's our lovely drinking buddy #kampaaiiiii-hic-hiiiic (^_*).

Me and hubby first met her back on mid 2002 when she studied Social Anthropology at Universitas Indonesia. She went back to Tokyo at 2003 and we still keep in touch. Every Christmas since she goes back, she send us a card, but heeiii we've never sent one back to her #muka-merah-kepala-tertunduk-malu-duhduhaaduduuh (-_-").

Keichan can speak Bahasa Indonesia fluently, and I believe she will not lose it even though she doesn't live in Jakarta anymore. Well, she is married to an Indonesian, so I might say she has a piece of Indonesia there in Tokyo hehehehe. Later you will see a photo of Mr and Mrs. Dani Muhammad. So, why I write about Keichan here on my post under title "Hello Kitty"? Well, the photo of Keichan's card bellow will tell you why #maksa :p

Wow, what a great introduction for my works related to Hello Kitty that later I will post here :D

This was my first attempt of HK: "Cushions" made for Denzel's B'day.

This was my second HK : "Bath towels" made for Tyson's B'day.

My third HK you probably already seen on my December 2nd post, its "Cushions" made for Baby Ashley. My fourth HK was "Bath Towels" made for Abigail's B'day.

And this was my latest HK (attempt no. 5) : "Denim tote bags" for Alexa's B'day. ^^

After making HK after HK, I think I started to like it more and more :p

Hmmm, I plan to bring my gals to Tokyo Disneyland very soon, just hope that I might not black out everytime I see HK and other Sanrio characters there at Hello Kitty theme park #kyaaa-kyaaaaa-jejeritan-imut-ala-karakter-cewe-di-komik2-Jepang. Hahaha. Krriiing kriiing hallo Keichan? Dani? jadi tour guide yah? boleh yah? mau yah? siiip oke oke brangkat sekarang (Hahahaha, I wish it is as simple as that :p)
