Keroppi & (more) HK Cushion Goody

Cuuaapeek ruar biasa belakangan ini *keluh-kesah-mulu* :D

Well, anak-anak udah mulai sekolah lagi, artinya harus bangun subuh buat make sure mereka sempat mandi, sarapan dikit dan gak telat ke sekolah. Body tua ini udah dimanja sebulanan bangun agak siangan, jadilah baru beberapa hari bangun pagian langsung deh badan mulai panas dingin, flu, migrain, sakit maag, dll, dsb, dst :D

Hehehe, anyway walaupun badan lemah-letih-lesu-lunglai-dan-lemot tidak menghentikan pilo-pilo untuk tetap menyelesaikan goody-bag ultah tepat pada waktunya, so ini dia beberapa foto cushion goody terbaru *padahal sih ini goody kerjaan minggu lalu but baru sempat upload skarang, D'oh!*

Ini adalah bantal dengan tema Hello Kitty dan Keroppi orderan Ms. Lina Lau untuk ultah ke 4 sweet Audrey.

Hallo, I'm Back

Today is my first day working after 1 week holiday, phffuiii mesti seret kaki buat ke kantor tadi pagi :D :D :D

I checked my mail and taddaaa there are 74 new messages need to be replied ^^... Anyway, I've got a nice message from Ms. Lydia (message date June 24th) informed that the cushions she ordered were received. Also, she sent me a picture of little Claire on her 1st Bday @ USA.

Ben's 2nd Birthday

Wohhooo, another great day. 20.01.2011.

For today post, I'll show you the pictures of Ben Nardo birthday. Ben is Ms. Meiny's baby no. 1, and he is turning 2 on January 5th.

Those cushions were finished by December 27th, and delivered to Meiny's house at Sunter by 28th. From Sunter, those cushions later sent to Samarinda, East Kalimantan using air flight. Wow, bon voyage cushions ^^

Lastly, Happy Birthday, Birthday Boy!!! Have some cakes, sing some songs, play and play the whole day long. Have a wonderful day! Lots of love and kisses and lots of presents, too ^^

Hello Kitty

This morning we got a 'Season's Greetings Card' from Japan. Its from our dear friend Ms. Keiko Nobukiyo a.k.a Keichan. She's our lovely drinking buddy #kampaaiiiii-hic-hiiiic (^_*).

Me and hubby first met her back on mid 2002 when she studied Social Anthropology at Universitas Indonesia. She went back to Tokyo at 2003 and we still keep in touch. Every Christmas since she goes back, she send us a card, but heeiii we've never sent one back to her #muka-merah-kepala-tertunduk-malu-duhduhaaduduuh (-_-").

Keichan can speak Bahasa Indonesia fluently, and I believe she will not lose it even though she doesn't live in Jakarta anymore. Well, she is married to an Indonesian, so I might say she has a piece of Indonesia there in Tokyo hehehehe. Later you will see a photo of Mr and Mrs. Dani Muhammad. So, why I write about Keichan here on my post under title "Hello Kitty"? Well, the photo of Keichan's card bellow will tell you why #maksa :p

This was my first attempt of HK: "Cushions" made for Denzel's B'day.

This was my second HK : "Bath towels" made for Tyson's B'day.

My third HK you probably already seen on my December 2nd post, its "Cushions" made for Baby Ashley. My fourth HK was "Bath Towels" made for Abigail's B'day.

And this was my latest HK (attempt no. 5) : "Denim tote bags" for Alexa's B'day. ^^

After making HK after HK, I think I started to like it more and more :p

Hmmm, I plan to bring my gals to Tokyo Disneyland very soon, just hope that I might not black out everytime I see HK and other Sanrio characters there at Hello Kitty theme park #kyaaa-kyaaaaa-jejeritan-imut-ala-karakter-cewe-di-komik2-Jepang. Hahaha. Krriiing kriiing hallo Keichan? Dani? jadi tour guide yah? boleh yah? mau yah? siiip oke oke brangkat sekarang (Hahahaha, I wish it is as simple as that :p)

Winston Part 2

To have 31 posts during these 31 days of December, one must open her old photo albums. Hehehe. Yup, that's what I did. And I was surprised to see so many photos that I could use. I guess it was a blessed I didn't post them back then *wink-wink

Okay, old photo that I'm going to show you next is about Winston and his cushion. Who's Winston? Winston a.k.a Winwin is Ms. Lia's baby boy. She ordered my cushion for Winston's 1st birthday back on May 2010.

This was the front-cushion-case in progress. I sent this picture for her approval. You probably have seen this exact monkey in my towel and my bathrobe but the first pattern actually was made for Winwin's cushion.

My hubby drew it, not me (as usual :p). I just described him what I want, and gave him a piece of paper and a pencil, he did the rest hehehe. What a lucky me.

Purple Elephant

When I wrote that I will publish 31 posts during these 31 days of December my hubby laughed. Well he has a point, cos I normally published 1-10 posts a month. He said he didn't sure if I could have that many stories to share. Today is 6th of December, and he caught me many times day dreaming in front of my PC. Hehehehe... He gave me his 'told-ya' smirk and little pad on my shoulder and said "only 25 more stories to go Hon ... jiaayooo" (>_<)

Well later if you read the story about my 'old' work or more posts about my kids, then it obvious that .............. yeah, you can fill the blanks :O

This was one of my very first art work. I called it Patchwork bag. None of it were patched, so basically I dunno where I get that name. I should change the name I guess *blushing. Need your input about this moms, my pea-sized brain can think of anything rite now.

I made 4 different colors with 4 different motives embroidered on the front pouch, and this purple elephant was the first of 4.

Want to know where I get the pattern? Easy. Its from my Sherine's bib. She was 10 months old back then, so practically I have many baby bibs at home. Kinda embarrassing to tell you that some of my best seller goody's pattern were copied from my baby bibs, their PJ, their shocks, in fact wall lamp hahaha.... please don't run to my competitor, dear customers. I have my original too :p

Using the same pattern, I embroidered this elephant on my cushions for Ms. Wulan Wibowo daughter "BELLA" for her 1st birthday. All 32 goodies were sent to their house at Yogyakarta on October 2 months ago (heiii this was consider new, hooray not all are oldies yippee).

Hmmm, I think I'm going to embroidered this elephant on my towel very soon. Hahahahhaha. #kurang-kreatif-kalee-kau-BAH! d(^____^)b

Jeslyn Ivana's 6th B'day

Since I uploaded the photo of Baby Ashley's Hello Kitty cushion back on October 3rd, it became my new best seller. Normally those mommies will pair it with Shinkansen cushion (Pattern first made for Denzel's b'day). Well, those mommies unquestionably are Sanrio's fans.

During October and November, I got order from 4 mommies ordering those pair. How lucky I was.

For today's post, I'll show you the photos of Ms. Julie Chou's little princess: Jeslyn Ivana's 6th birthday party at school.

Sorry moms, this picture was unprofessionally taken by me. And I have to admit, I am not professional photographer (ehhmmm, just in case you didn't notice :p)

Before I mentioned that there were 4 mommies order the same goodies these past 2 months, so why I picked Jeslyn's goodies to be posted here? Well, simply because Julie is our neighbor hehehe, her house is around 30 meters far from our house. And Julie didn't mind to share these great pictures from her collections (actually she sent me more than those 3).

Anyway, happy 6th bday dear Jeslyn, and thanks so much for the cinnamorol (one of Sanrio's character) cup cake and candies you shared to Sydney and Sherine. Eeeehh as for Jeslyn's b'day gift, do you mind waiting a bit? haha (I promised her my Hello Kitty amigurumi, but I doubt it will finish this month :p) AaiyoooO ^^

Baby Ashley

Yesterday I told you that my pilo-pilo is turning two this December, rite? It makes me very very happy and for that reason I plan to post something here on my blog everyday 'till December 31st mppphhhh #cari-ilham-dimulai

Okay, I have an interesting story about baby Ashley, first baby of Ms. Heni Daniel. Her order were taken back on August, and her first request was my cushion to be given as her baby-one-month-giveaway. She wanted 30 pcs of them. The due date was on October, so it meant the baby one month celebration would be on November. I thought this was going to be an 'easy' job for me without any rushing problems 'cos I have plenty of time doing it.

Why later on it became an interesting story? Here I told you why #drumroll (^_^)

Around September she contacted me informing that she needed more than 30 pcs cushions. I asked how many exactly? She said : 70. Ouch .. yeah those 70 pieces meant more than double than her first order. I said it shouldn't be a problem since the delivery date would be on November, so I still have 2 months to go. She said, apparently there was a change of plan, she didn't want them as 'manye' give away, she wanted them as souvenirs for all families, relatives, and friends who visit her on the day she gave birth to baby Ashley. I said OOooowwccch!! Double goodies shorter time, aiiyooo!!! (*_*)

But again, an order is an order, I had no choice but to say OK let's see what I can do.

We rushed and rushed... I tried my best not to panic, even-though I always had a butterfly in my stomach each time Heny contacted me checking how many of the cushions were ready, and she mentioned that she probably gave birth any day soon. (T_T). So what I did, I told her not to stressed out (easier said than done, right? hahaha)... I promised I sent those cushions partially, maybe 20-25 pcs per delivery every time they were done. She said okay, well, she didn't have so much choice either, did she? :p

And yes, all cushions were delivered to her around couple of days before she gave birth. Hallelujah. Thanks be to God.

Here I post a little more story. This picture was sent by Heny, it was her on the picture holding the wallpaper sample album for baby Ashley's room. Heny is a Hello Kitty fan and for sure she wanted everything related to HK for Asley.

Using the same pattern, here is the cushion we made for dear Ashley. Not so bad, huh ^^

Last picture was taken from Heny's album. This is baby Claire Ashley photo, collage with pilo-pilo cushions. Lucky baby Ashley will surely grow as pretty as her model-look-a-like-mom Ms. Heny. Congratulations dear. Smoochie smoochie (^_^).

My Melody Set of 3

Hello... I'm back... miss me? NO lah! I just posted something here on my blog days ago. I'm not going anywhere. hehehe.

Today I feel lucky. How so? I just realized that now some of my customers keep ordering the same pattern I made to be embroidered in different goody. It means I don't need to think of a new pattern every day hahaha. Kinda run out of idea lately, dunno why.

I remember got an order from mommy Ratna Melinda to her girl "Celine", she ordered a denim tote bag, a cushion and a towel with My Melody pattern on each of it. I didn't take the picture of her order but they were exactly look like the pictures shown here.

My yellow baby giraffe

I've got an order to make a towel with my yellow baby giraffe embroidered on it. I now declared that this giraffe is the most wanted pattern chose by all moms (^_^).

Last year, I embroidered this exact giraffe to my Sydney's school bag. That was the first time I use this pattern.

This year, I've got order from mommy Linda to make a cushion to her baby boy "Kaeden" with 'again' yellow giraffe embroidered on it. You can see the picture here.

And now, fresh from the oven, please welcome: my very same yellow baby giraffe embroidered on a towel for mommy Astrid's boy "Xander".

Really really hope that my other customers not get bored seeing this cute giraffe. 'Cos it's not feel good when somebody see your new creation and say "ityu lagi ityuu lagiiiiii, bosyyaaan atyyuuh neng!!!"
